Caedmon Choir

The Caedmon Choir is a folk choir now based at The Sage Gateshead. They began way back in 1987, started by Eddie Upton the then Folk Artist in Residence with Gateshead Council's Arts Development Team. Their first performance was a celebration of Christmas and so it was fitting that they were asked to perform at Carols at the Cross giving the band a well earned break and delighting us with one or two suitable 'secular' Christmas songs.
